The Art of Steadicam

Delivered by Ian McPake

Sunderland Shorts is excited to host this Professional Development session, where you’ll get hands on practical tuition in the art of Steadicam® under the expert guidance of Ian McPake, accompanied by play-back facilities to see how you’re doing.

Ian is steadicam lecturer at the University of Sunderland.

 

Drone Training

Delivered by Roar Motion

Matt Eyre and Rob Parsons are graduates of the University of Sunderland and their business Roar Motion, specialises,in drone photography. Using mini drones, they will instruct participants on the safety aspects of flying drones, handling and management and on the use of drones in cinematography.

How to Develop a Career in Film

Delivered by Steve Bowden

Steve has run two independent production companies and has been responsible for over 50 audio-visual projects including feature films, short films and television productions. He is a graduate of the prestigious European Audio Visual Entrepreneurs programme and has worked as a business mentor for Digital City, Generator, and as a Senior Lecturer at the Media Business School. In addition he designs and delivers bootcamps, workshops and training programmes for aspiring creative industry entrepreneurs and film makers.
