On reflection…
2015
The 1st Sunderland Shorts took place between the 2 and 5 July 2015.
Selected films from Sunderland’s first festival were featured in the 2015 DC Shorts Film Festival programme, exposing Sunderland’s filmmakers to our sister city’s audience.
The inaugural festival took place over four venues: Sunderland Minster, Independent, Empire Theatre and Sunderland Software Centre. It included over 65 films and a launch party with music from the Lilliput band and a pop up bar from Maxim Brewery at the Minster.
