Synopsis:
There was a plan to build a cinema in the cliffs – it might have been here. Sinkhole is a poetic response to the archive and oral histories of Tyneside Cinema, an independent cinema in north-east England which has faced many waves of crisis. Through imagined vignettes, Sinkhole meditates on grand visions and being near to collapse.
